Meet Tiffany

Business Owner

As owner and operator of KBI Staffing Solutions, Tiffany helps more than 600 hard-working Central Floridians a year find good-paying jobs in careers like construction, hospitality, and administration. She knows what it takes to grow our economy and give every-day Floridians the opportunity to succeed.

Community Advocate

Tiffany is a community advocate at heart and previously served as President of the Orange County NAACP — the youngest president in the branch’s 94-year history. She currently serves as Co-chair of the Orange County Community Development Advisory Board where she works alongside our local elected officials to bring economic opportunity to Central Florida families.

Leader

From volunteering as a High School Mentor with Seminole County Public Schools to serving as a steward at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Tiffany is always looking for ways to serve her community and inspire others. She was recently named an Orlando Business Journal 40 Under 40 Honoree for her leadership in business and in the Central Florida Community.

Tiffany Hughes is the child of immigrant parents from St. Vincent and the Grenadines who instilled in her a love for America and its promise of economic opportunity for all who are willing to chase it. Watching her parents strive to achieve their American Dream showed Tiffany the importance of diving into new opportunities, working hard, and never giving up.

Growing up, Tiffany’s mom would find any reason to have friends and family over. It didn’t matter if it was a neighbor starting a new job or a niece graduating from college, her mother never shied away from any excuse to throw a party and celebrate her loved ones’ successes. This deep love of community was passed on to Tiffany and can be seen in her unwavering commitment to helping others.

Tiffany is an advocate at heart, and in 2021, she was elected the 25th President of the Orange County, FL branch of the NAACP, the youngest in the branch’s history. She is also an education advocate and mentors for Seminole County Public Schools with the Take Stock in Children Program. Tiffany is dedicated to supporting Florida’s public education system to ensure that our children have the necessary resources and support to thrive.

A true public servant, Tiffany serves as Co-chair of the Orange County Community Development Advisory Board where she works alongside our local elected officials to bring economic opportunity to Central Florida families. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated and is a steward at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Eatonville, FL.

Tiffany owns and operates KBI Staffing Solutions, a staffing firm that helps more than 600 hard-working Central Floridians a year find good-paying jobs in careers like construction, hospitality, and healthcare administration. Under her leadership, KBI Staffing Solutions has become one of the fastest growing companies in Central Florida, with clients across the state and around the country.

Tiffany is a graduate of the Florida International University and has a certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University. She is a graduate of Leadership Orlando Class 100, NAACP 2019 NextGen, and the Congressional Black Caucus Institute’s Political Boot Camp. She is a past recipient of the Orange County District 6 Citizen of the Year award and in 2021 was named an Orlando Business Journal 40 under 40 honoree.

Tiffany lives in the district with her husband and college sweetheart Kenneth and their two-year-old son Legacy.
